Induction Technology Explained
Using clever magnetic technology beneath a ceramic glass surface, an inductor creates a magnetic field when a pan with a suitable iron content (magnetic base) is placed on the hob surface. This magnetic reaction instantaneously starts the production of heat directly with the ferrous pan and not from the hob cooking zone, therefore leaving the hob surface cool enough to touch once the hot pan is removed from the cooking zone. Induction hobs are both easy to clean and very energy efficient making them the ideal choice of cooking workstation in any kitchen.

Heat is transmitted directly to the pan base, hobs available from 58cm upto 93cm whilst also offering the very latest zoneless induction cooking with the introduction of the new De Dietrich DTiM1000c piano hob.
